How fun to wake up on a Sunday Morning to texts from friends about a lovely article written about me! Marketta Gregory came to visit me at my studio at Central Creatives, and we had a lovely chat! She captured the heart of my mission- to make a difference, one greeting card at a time!
At one point, I shared with her that some days I wish there was a giant sign for me to ensure what I was doing was the right thing. She smiled at me and asked, ” You know where you are, right?”
(I should mention that my new studio is a part of the Central Creatives at the Piano works mall. The offices we have converted to a collective creative space were previously the offices of Heritage Christian Services. Marketta actually worked there before.)
I looked around my studio hoping for a more clever answer, and said,
“My studio?”
She smiled, and she said,” Your studio was the mailroom for HCS.”
We just let that sink in for a moment. I got very teary.

Goodness, if that isn’t a sign, what could be better. I am beyond grateful.
