As a small business owner, you do it all. When you are sick, you still try to do it all – but sometimes things are more of a challenge. You cannot will yourself into succeeding, no matter how hard you try.
I have been very discouraged. It’s been a rough summer. All of my schedules and plans have sort of imploded. My husband has this saying, (he is the cliche king) “If you aren’t where you are, you are nowhere.” So, my take on that message is this- sometimes life throws curveballs, accept it, do your best, and move on.
So today, I am trying to do just that. I am diligently trying to go to press in the next few days. This morning, I loaded my design software (shout out to @AdobeIllustrator!) and this is what I was greeted with. I admit, There was a sense of pride. So today, I am celebrating what I have accomplished instead of being discouraged over the mountainous goals I have not accomplished. I shall continue… one by one.
