To be present, take the time to write a note. (Bonus if it is in a lovely card!)
We all have people in our lives we don’t see as often as we would like. I want to suggest that instead of feeling guilty that you don’t visit Aunt Martha who lives three hundred miles away, or Cindy your dear friend from college- you send a card.
Inside write a note. Tell her (or him or them- well you get it) what is going on in your life. Share the good stuff, the challenging stuff, and that you care about them. A note- a heartfelt note- is a gift that can be revisited and generous. We are all just so busy. (I have come to detest that term) Taking the time to write a note (again, bonus for using a lovely card – one from Greetings 4 Good- EXTRA bonus!) is a special and thoughtful gift.
Today- Reach out to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.
Thanks for being here with me…
Sending you so much love-
Susan
