Hi, it feels like I should re-introduce myself. It’s been a while… My name is Susan Carmen-Duffy. I want to share a bit about me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I write this, I keep looking at the photograph I posted to go with this. No make up, clearly tired, and a faint smile. It’s been a tough year- I post this particular photo, because it’s real. The more I travel this journey, the more I understand that authenticity is key, not just a goal, but a way of life. I do my best to show up, regardless of the complexities of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe in family first (which is why I have been awol for much of this year-) I am a partner\/wife, sister, mother, grandmother and more. Each of these roles I cherish. I am a life long artist. From the first Crayola I held in my hand to a paint brush now (or any other implement of creation) I am ever curious; inlove with layers, with color, texture, & in awe of the way art reveals itself to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art is my prayer; it is my sacred activity. It balances me. It is my oxygen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am the owner and keeper of all things creative and whimsical for @createart4good and @greetings4good . This includes all aspects of the business, from creation, implementation, doing the books, vacuuming the floors, packing product to ship, planning and setting up workshops and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My mission with both businesses is to spread love through art and creativity. I believe that art heals. I have witnessed and am honored by the light that shines in someone’s eye when they attach to a piece of my art, or practice a method discussed in a workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create Art 4 Good is over fifteen years old. Greetings 4 Good is over nine years old. How crazy is that? While the business has changed locations, and grown to meet the changing needs, the core is still the same. I have said it a thousand times- \u201cShare the Love\u201d- We are all in this together- I believe that with all my heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
